NBC have announced a new manager for the Scranton office of Dunder Mifflin, the fictional paper company portrayed in The Office.
Dim-witted salesman Andy Bernard, played by actor Ed Helms, is the new big cheese.
The big reveal came on Thursday’s season premiere of the long-running NBC comedy, which also served as James Spader’s debut as a full-time castmember. He reprises his guest role as manipulative Robert California, who over the summer was hired as the office’s new regional manager. Andy replaces former office manager Michael Scott, previously played by longtime series star (and Emmy snubbee) Steve Carell. Carell left the series last spring to focus on his cinema career.
What do you think of Andy as the new Regional Manger of the Dunder-Mifflin?
