It looks like new mom Kim Zolciak, The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s resident “Token White Girl,” is ready for her closeup.
Word on the Curb has the blogosphere atwitter with buzz that the be-wigged, bust-baring chainsmoker has been tipped to star in her own spinoff series, expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in the coming months.
Shh — don’t tell NeNe!
The mother-of-three welcomed a son with NFL beau Kroy Biermann over the summer and the tot’s arrival — coupled with the headscratching success of Kim’s dance tune “Tardy for the Party” — was all the inspiration Housewives honcho Andy Cohen needed to hit the green light on a RHOA spinoff, with Kim’s name in light.
Originally the show was to be five African American women but after Bravo met Kim, they insisted she be part of the cast,” a blabbing insider told The Huffington Post earlier this month. “Kim is a game-changer. She was the first housewife to release a single ['Tardy for the Party'] and just like Bethenny [Frankel], she fell in love and got pregnant while taping the show. She’s the perfect choice for the next lady to get her own show.”
So just what would a Kim Zolciak reality show entail?
Kim’s new show is going to follow the very successful Bethenny formula,” the insider adds. “A new mom and her fiancé trying to make everything work. Juggling baby, boyfriend and career. But instead of all those trips to a therapist that Bethenny made, expect Kim to work out her problems at the nail salon with friends.”
What say you, Reality Fans? Would you watch an “unscripted” (Hint, Nudge, Wink) docu-soap starring Kim?
