Casey Anthony’s bill just got a lot bigger.
On Friday, Judge Belvin Perry added $119,822.25 to the amount Anthony owes investigators for lying to them and triggering a search for her daughter Caylee in 2008.
The adjusted amount comes from Perry receiving additional details from Orange County Sheriff’s Office authorities about the costs they incurred.
Perry originally ordered Anthony to pay $97,676.98 in a ruling earlier this month.
The total sum now stands at more than $217,000.
In July, Anthony was acquitted in Caylee’s murder, but found guilty of providing false information to the police.
Three years ago, she told the police her daughter was kidnapped by her babysitter, which set off a five-month search for the missing girl. During the murder trial, it was revealed that Anthony had lied about the kidnapping.
Prosecutors were seeking $500,000 in reimbursed costs.
