Vanessa Hudgens is set to star in Frozen Ground, a serial killer thriller based on the true story of a man who hunted and murdered women in the Alaskan wilderness.
John Cusack will play Robert Hansen, who abducted approximately two dozen women in the 1980s, flying them to remote locations before stalking them in the forest.
Hudgens is due to portray a would-be victim who escapes and works with a state trooper to bring down Hansen.
