Ohio State lose the match by giving up big plays.
The Buckeyes failed on all counts, and now are indanger of slipping out of the AP Top 25 for the first time in nearly seven years.
Lamar Miller ran for 188 yards, Jacory Harris threw two first-quarter touchdown passes to Allen Hurns and Miami avoided matching its longest losing streak in 33 years by topping No. 17 Ohio State 24-6 on Saturday night.Jacory Harris throws two touchdowns and two interceptions in Miami's win over Ohio State. Both teams have first-year head coaches, but only the Hurricanes have an entirely new staff and system. Only the Hurricanes are facing an 0-2 start to the season.
With players on both sides back tonight, Miami is closer to full strength than Ohio State. And while lots of OSU fans are expected in the stands, the Hurricanes are at home. So if their best players aren't rusty or over-anxious or mistake-prone, this game is there for the taking by Miami.
It looks a lot of people picking Ohio State are assuming Harris mistakes as part of the losing match.
