Maker Faire.

Maker Faire is an event created by Make Magazine to "celebrate arts, crafts, engineering, science projects and the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) mindset."The 2009 Bay Area Maker Faire was held May 30 & 31 at the San Mateo Fairgrounds. Featured guests included Adam Savage.
The 2009 Maker Faire Rhode Island was scheduled for September 6-19.
Maker Faire Bay Area 2010 was held May 22 and 23, at the San Mateo County Event Center. Featured makers included Adam Savage, Eepybird, OK Go, ArcAttack, and The Crucible.
Maker Faire North Carolina 2010 was held April 25.
Maker Faire Detroit 2010 was held July 31 and August 1.
Maker Faire New York 2010 was held September 25 and 26.
