Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi Opening Vegan Restaurant.

The Wahlbergs have Wahlburgers, Ashton Kutcher teamed up with his That ‘70s Show co-stars Danny Masterson and Wilmer Valderrama to open the Italian eatery Dolce, and now Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are joining the celebrity restaurant game.

The talk show queen and her Arrested Development wife are investing in a new vegan eatery set to open in California’s San Fernando Valley. The menu will be created by celebrity chef Tal Ronnen – who prepared the menu for Ellen and Portia’s wedding back in Nov. 2008 – and will be completely free of meat, diary, and any other animal-derived products. The restaurant’s interior design will be designed by Waldo Fernandez, who has decorated homes for stars including Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and Tobey Maguire.

Earlier this year, Ellen also launched a diet advice webpage, “Going Vegan with Ellen,” with recipes and resources to help users adopt an animal free diet. But Ellen and Portia aren’t the only celebs to open a vegan restaurant – Moby beat them to the punch when he opened Teany in Manhattan, a tea cafe specialises in vegan food!
