Steve Jobs Biopic Already On The Way.

Less than a week after the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, Sony Pictures has started negotiations to tell the technological entrepreneur’s life story in a big screen biopic.
Based on the upcoming biography Steve Jobs, written by Walter Isaacson, the project is in its early stages, but as Deadline notes, Sony is already hashing out a million-dollar deal to secure the rights to the book, which arrives on booksellers’ shelves later this month. Comprised of more than 40 interviews with Jobs and more than 100 conversations with his friends, families, colleagues, and contemporaries, Isaacson’s biography is the first to have Jobs’ blessing.
Following the massive success of The Social Network, Sony’s film about Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, it was only a matter of time before Apple’s former CEO got the Hollywood treatment too. Mark Gordon (Source Code, Saving Private Ryan) is set to produce the film, though a screenwriter has not yet been named as yet.
