The Queen of Pop may be going where a bevy of pop acts have gone before: Center stage at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.Madonna will succeed musical superstars like Prince, The Who, The Black Eyed Peas, and Bruce Springsteen as the halftime entertainment at Super Bowl XLVI. Spokesfolks for The Material Girl and the NFL are staying tight-lipped, but timing could be perfect: Madonna is slated to release a new album — the follow-up to 2008′s Hard Candy — early next year. And she’s already auditioning dancers for a buzzed-about world tour.
