James Franco Mourns Dad

Studious screen star James Franco is coping with a serious case of “The Sads…” Doug Franco, the businessman father of the Hollywood actor died this week.Proud parents Doug and Betsy attended this year’s Oscars ceremony to cheer on James, who was the event’s host, as well as a Best Actor nominee for his in the Ripped-From-The-Headlines drama 127 Hours.
In addition to Betsy and James, 33, Doug is also survived by sons Dave, 26, and Tom, 31.
