Demi Lovato announced on Friday that she’ll perform the national anthem before Game Five on Monday.
Lovato, a native Texan and an avid Rangers fan, didn’t forget her humility when revealing the exciting news.
She tweeted today, “Only my lovatics could land me a spot singing the national anthem at the WORLD SERIES!!!! I couldn’t do it without you guys!!!!”
Following “American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery‘s less than perfect performance before Game One, Lovato is sure to be a hit.
In terms of actual baseball, by the way, the World Series is currently tied at one game apiece between the Rangers and the St. Louis Cardinals.
