NEW YORK: Serena Williams is under investigation by US Open tournament officials for the ugly outburst she directed at the chair umpire during her loss to Australian Sam Stosur in the final on Sunday.
Tournament referee Brian Earley issued a statement saying he was reviewing the incident on tape and wanted to speak with Asderaki to determine whether Williams should be fined.
