Selena Gomez Gets Three-Year Restraining Order Against Stalker

Selena Gomez

has been granted a long-term restraining order against the delusional man who allegedly stalked her and threatened to kill the singer-actress.

On Friday, a judge granted Gomez a three-year protection order against Thomas Brodnicki, who is said to have told people he had “conversations with God” about murdering Gomez and revealed to a psychiatrist that he made multiple visits to her workplace.

Brodnicki pled not guilty to stalking charges in November and had his case dismissed.

Gomez’s petition for the long-term protection was previously denied because Brodnicki had not been present to tell his side of the story, but on Friday her lawyer presented a declaration from Brodnicki himself that said ”a restraining order should be issued against me to prevent me from trying to contact Selena.”

Rob Lowe in Talks to Co-Host “Live” with Kelly Ripa

After sitting in as a guest co-host on “Live with Kelly Ripa,” Rob Lowe has been approached by ABC to possibly replace Regis Philbin, who left the hit morning show in November.

Gossip Cop is told ABC is already in talks with Lowe’s people after the actor proved to be “a natural — really great,” says a network insider.

A source close to the actor confirms to us, “His agents are dealing with it.”

Of course, Lowe is already on the NBC show “Parks & Recreation,” so he’d have to leave the West Coast-based show to do the morning program out of New York.
